Wastegate installation

I got this Golf SportWagen with an APR tune, and I'm having a nightmare with this aftermarket wastegate.

The first one broke, and the new one keeps popping off too! I tried talking to the company that makes it, but they weren't much help.

I'm starting to think it's not the wastegate, but I don't know what else it could be. Any ideas?

Honestly, I'm not a huge fan of CTS stuff, especially their wastegates. They feel kinda cheap, like something you'd find on AliExpress. If you're looking for a better option, I'd definitely go with Mahle from Mamba, they're way higher quality.

Have you checked the boost pressure or inspected the mounting hardware to see if there’s an alignment issue? Could it be something with the turbo setup itself?

Yeah, it could be an issue with those components.

Sounds like a mounting issue to me too. If it’s popping off, maybe the flange isn't sealing properly or there's too much boost pressure.
