Growling sound when above 1000 rpm

Hi! I have noticed that when my car is above 1000 rpm, and before reaching 2000 rpm it makes a growling sound. What could it be? It is the first time I have had this issue.

It could be an issue with the exhaust, intake, or engine mounts. Since it's your first time hearing it, I'd recommend checking for loose components or any blockages in the intake.

Could be nothing serious, but a new sound that wasn’t there before is always worth checking out. The fact that it happens between 1,000-2,000 RPM makes me think of...

1. A loose or failing engine mount – If the engine shifts too much, it can cause vibration.
2. Exhaust resonance or small leak – Sometimes a flex pipe or clamp loosens up.
3. Belt-related issues – If a pulley or belt is aging, it might vibrate at specific RPMs.

If you haven’t noticed performance loss or CELs, it might just be resonance from a loose part. I’d still get it checked before it turns into something bigger
