My MK7 Golf GT's windscreen was just replaced, and I'm currently retrofitting lane assist. But I've encountered a problem. I'm experiencing some issues with the recently installed windscreen.

Does anyone else have any experience replacing the windscreen on MK7 Golfs, particularly when making modifications? I would be very grateful for any recommendations.

It’s likely that the lane assist system needs recalibration after the windscreen replacement. Make sure the sensors are properly aligned.

I haven't personally dealt with that, but it might be related to calibration or the sensors. Have you tried recalibrating the lane assist after installation?

Make sure you give the windscreen fitment a solid once-over and clear out any debris around the sensor mounting points. Sometimes recalibration isn’t enough if those sensors aren’t lined up right or there’s something in the way. Just a heads-up!

It seems like it might not be the correct windscreen. Have it checked by the dealer or try a re-calibration.
